I’m back with another product review but this time I’ll be sharing my favourite summer skincare products that will give your face a smooth, radiant glow and encourage longer lasting makeup!

The Body Shop Seaweed Oil-Balancing Clay Mask which ‘clarifies, controls, mattifies’ – combination/oily skin

The Body Shop Seaweed Oil-Control Gel Cream – combination/oily skin

The Body Shop Facial Brush

Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub which ‘leaves lips soft, smooth and tasting delicious’

The seaweed collection from The Body Shop is amazing for combination skin, I myself find my cheeks and nose to the be slightly oilier ‘problem’ areas whereas my forehead and the bottom half of my face tend to be a bit drier. The seaweed line works to restore balance by adding enough moisture to the dry areas and mattifying the areas that produce excess oil. The face and body lotion has become my absolute favourite this summer as not only does it do exactly what it says, but it is a fantastic makeup primer- even on the hottest of days it works really well with my foundation (Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation) to prevent creasing/fading etc.  I also asked for a tester of the seaweed scrub which definitely gets a thumbs up too!

I love using the facial brush for a deeper cleanse as it is soft on the skin, increases circulation and helps cleanse your pores for a brighter complexion giving you the ‘ultimate spa glow’. I prefer the handheld brush as you have a lot more control and are able to brush gently (and at your own pace) around sensitive areas such as the eyes. For even better product absorption and to maximise your pampering experience, it’s great to use The Body Shop’s rubber facial massager to finish up the process.

Last but not least is the Lush popcorn lip scrub, a fantastic product for exfoliating lips, prepping them perfectly for lip balms, matte lipsticks and shiny gloss. This scrub gave me super smooth lips and increased circulation making my lips nice and vibrant under a touch of nude gloss. Did I mention this lip scrub is edible?! It literally tastes like caramel popcorn and is ‘al natural’, made from caster sugar, jojoba oil, sea salt, polenta, coconut oil and popping candy flavour.
